1、 Product Overview
Large radiators are essential thermal management core components in high-power heating scenarios such as industrial electronic equipment, power modules, communication base stations, and new energy equipment. 2、 Core technical capabilities
(1) Design of large radiator mold Mold is the fundamental guarantee of radiator quality. Our company has the ability to independently develop and manufacture molds. The mold workshop is equipped with advanced precision CNC production equipment such as wire cutting and spark machines, which can produce various types of radiator molds suitable for different tonnage extruders (450T~4000T). In the mold design stage, we introduce CAE metal flow simulation technology to optimize key parameters such as the number and layout of diversion holes, welding chamber structure, and working zone.
In response to the structural difficulties of large radiator profiles, such as large differences in cross-sectional wall thickness and long tooth shaped cantilevers (tongue ratio greater than 3), advanced mold solutions such as protective diversion combination molds or flow guiding structure designs are adopted to effectively adjust the flow velocity distribution during metal extrusion, ensure smooth extrusion of profiles, and extend the service life of molds.
(2) Aluminum alloy profile extrusion molding
Our company has multiple large-scale aluminum extrusion production lines, which can produce radiator profiles with a maximum outer circle diameter of 350mm. High quality aluminum alloy rods such as 6061 and 6063 are selected, and undergo a complete process including homogenization treatment, heating, extrusion, online quenching, stretching straightening, and cutting to length to ensure dense microstructure and excellent mechanical properties of the profiles.
In response to the characteristics of large radiators with multiple teeth, uneven tooth height, and wall thickness, we strictly control the extrusion speed, outlet temperature, and cooling rate during the extrusion process to avoid tooth bending deformation or grain coarsening, resulting in good thermal conductivity and dimensional stability of the finished product.
(3) CNC precision machining
The extruded profile needs to undergo multiple CNC precision machining processes to meet the assembly accuracy requirements. Our company is equipped with three-axis, four axis, and five axis linkage machining centers, which can achieve one-time clamping completion of complex processes such as milling, drilling, tapping, boring, end face milling, chamfering, etc.
The processing accuracy can reach ± 0.01mm, the flatness is controlled within 0.05mm, and the roughness is better than Ra1.6 μ m. For large radiators, we also provide subsequent processing such as grooving, cutting, sanding, drawing, polishing, etc., and can complete surface treatments such as anodizing, electrophoretic coating, powder coating, etc. according to customer needs to improve the corrosion resistance and appearance quality of the radiator.
